Introducing Hero Alerts (Beta): the stores and operators most worth investigating

Overview We've launched Hero Alerts in beta on the Transpeye Platform. Hero Alerts surfaces the handful of stores and checkout operators most worth a closer look, ranked by risk and compared against the rest of your estate — so instead of scanning every site by hand, you get a prioritised, colour-coded view of where loss and policy risk are concentrated, and a one-click path from a signal to an investigation. Why we built it Loss and risk rarely announce themselves. They hide in small percentages spread across many sites. One store's refund rate can look unremarkable on its own but stand out sharply next to its peers. Hero Alerts calculates a curated set of risk metrics for every store and operator, normalises them — shown per 100 transactions or as a percentage of sales, so a small site and a large flagship compare fairly — then scores each one against the estate and the previous period. How it works Hero Alerts lives under the Analytics menu and opens on the Alerts tab, highest-severity signals first, so you act on the worst risk before anything else:A summary strip shows how many Critical, High, Medium and Low alerts exist right now; click any severity to filter the list. Metrics are normalised so estates of mixed store sizes compare fairly. Each alert is built on the same A-EYE™ exception-reporting engine that powers the rest of the platform, so a flagged signal links straight to the underlying transactions and video.This extends the Unified Risk View from "what happened" to "where should I look first" — pointing your analysts and managed-service team at the highest-value risk across the whole estate. Availability Hero Alerts is currently in beta. It appears under the Analytics menu for accounts where the feature has been enabled, marked with a Beta tag. Wandsworth Oasis streamlines charity shop operations with Transpeye

The customer Wandsworth Oasis is a south London HIV charity that has operated since 1989, running nine shops to fund its work and challenge the stigma faced by people living with HIV. Like all charity retailers, it depends on consistent point-of-sale controls to protect both its income and the Gift Aid revenue that makes donated stock go further. The challenge Charity retailing is unpredictable by nature. The supply chain is donation-led rather than ordered, which makes inventory and stock management difficult, and a largely volunteer workforce turns over more often than a typical store team. Together these make it hard to establish and hold consistent controls at the till — and hard to tell apart genuine mistakes from malicious activity. Wandsworth Oasis needed to protect Gift Aid revenue and surface both malicious and non-malicious losses without adding burden to its volunteers. The solution Lodge Service, the UK's longest-standing family-owned security company, recommended the Transpeye Platform as part of the charity's improvement programme. The deployment combined two strands of work:A CCTV migration. All sites were upgraded to Hikvision cameras and moved onto the Hik-ProConnect platform, then fully integrated with Transpeye via cloud-to-cloud technology — no local DVR or NVR software to install or maintain at each shop. The customer Hobbycraft is a UK arts and crafts retailer with an estate of more than 100 stores. Its loss prevention team needed to review CCTV alongside transaction data across every site — without the cost and overhead of deploying and maintaining local software at each store.
